Most of these parts are being sold with a 30-day money-back non-DOA guarantee for qualified buyers (exceptions are noted below).

For Sale: Capstone Microturbine 30kW HEV (components)

We are selling our Capstone Microturbine, which is a diesel version that was installed in AVS bus #135. The turbine is being sold in component form, and will require quite a bit of work to recommission. Because of the complexity in restoring this turbine to working order, the Capstone components are being sold As Is, Where Is, without warranty of any kind (unless you are a Capstone-qualified ASP, in which case the standard 30 day MBG is effective). The turbine was pulled from a bus which had only 1400 miles on it before it was pulled from service, and was confirmed working before being pulled, so we expect a qualified engineer can restore it to full working order.
Included is the turbine itself, the original Capstone DPC (Digital Power Controller), as well as an extra DPC (from AVS bus #168) which was configured for a LNG version of the turbine.
The price for the turbine and components is $3800, obo, plus shipping, which will be substantial (expect $400 or more, depending on your location).
The turbine weighs more that 250 pounds, while each DPC weighs in at 150 pounds.
The second DPC is an optional extra that can be dropped from the shipment, if the buyer wants to reduce the shipping cost and weight.

For Sale: Solectria DCDC750BC

Three of these DC-DC converters are for sale, for $250 each obo. These accept 200v-400v DC input, and output 13.5vdc for up to 55 amps. They can also be combined for higher total amperage. Specifications for the DC-DC converter is contained within the owner's manual. These converters do come with a 30-day non-DOA money-back guarantee, and include matching (pigtail) connectors for the inputs (Deutsch) and outputs (Anderson), as well as a 100-CFM fan.
